Immunizations

mother-babyServices

At Van Buren Cass District Health Department we offer all routinely recommended vaccines  to people of all ages. We follow the ACIP (Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices) recommended vaccine schedule for 0-18 years and 19 years and older.

We participate with the VFC Program (Vaccines for Children) which is a federally funded vaccine program for children.  We also participate with the MI-AVP Program (Adult Vaccine Program) which offers vaccines for high risk populations 19 years and older.

During the fall season we offer additional community clinics to administer flu and pneumonia vaccinations.

Our staff educate all area providers about the MCIR (Michigan Care Improvement Registry) which is the state-wide immunization registry and the importance of participating in the VFC program.

We provide Immunization Waiver Education Sessions by appointment.

Please call 269-740-4155 to speak with an immunization nurse to understand the vaccination options available to you.
