The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) recommends that all Michigan residents six months and older receive updated COVID-19, flu, and RSV vaccines ahead of the fall and winter respiratory season. These vaccines offer protection against severe illness from current COVID-19 variants, as well as flu and RSV infections.
The 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine has been approved by the FDA and CDC, and it can be safely administered with other vaccines. Vaccination helps reduce hospitalizations and deaths from respiratory illnesses.
VBCDHD will release an off-site clinic schedule soon to help the community access these vaccines. To learn more and find vaccine locations near you, visit Michigan.gov/COVIDFluRSV.
