Campground Licensing Requirements

  • Michigan Public Health Code (Part 125) regulates campground construction, modification, and operation.
  • License required for campgrounds with 5+ campsites or recreational units.
  • Licensing issued by Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE).

How to Apply

  • Temporary Campground License requires a triplicate form (not downloadable).
