Preparing for Public Health Emergencies
Through the CDC’s Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) program, Michigan's 45 local health departments, including Van Buren/Cass, receive funding to strengthen emergency response. Since 2002, local health departments have developed and refined all-hazards response plans to ensure community resilience.
