Boil Water Advisory Lifted for Blue Star Highway Area

The Boil Water Advisory issued on November 19 for the Blue Star Highway area in South Haven Township has been officially lifted as of 7:00 p.m. on November 21. After completing corrective actions and conducting follow-up testing, the City of South Haven Water Department—working with the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes & Energy—has confirmed that the water supply is free of coliform bacteria. It is no longer necessary to boil water or use bottled water for drinking or cooking.
