Apply Now: Van Buren County Opioid Settlement Grant Program
Van Buren County is offering up to $300,000 in opioid settlement grant funding to support local programs that help prevent and respond to opioid misuse in our communities.
Funding is available for 2025–2027 and is open to nonprofits, schools, local governments, tribal entities, recovery groups, and faith-based organizations. Grants will support services that make a difference—like peer recovery support, transportation for rural residents, housing, treatment access, prevention, and community education.
Key priorities include:
- Access to treatment and recovery support
- Supportive housing and follow-up care
- Transportation for rural residents
- Youth prevention programs
- Education to reduce stigma
Important dates:
- Application opens: July 1, 2025
- Deadline: August 15, 2025 by 5:00 PM EDT
- Funding term: January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2026
- Awards announced: By September 30, 2025
- No matching funds required
