ByHeart Infant Formula Recall: Important Safety Alert for Families in Van Buren & Cass Counties

The FDA and CDC are currently investigating a small number of infant botulism cases that may be linked to ByHeart infant formula. In response, ByHeart has recalled all formula products sold nationwide as of Tuesday morning.

If your family has a recalled formula can at home:

  • Stop using it immediately
  • Monitor your baby closely for symptoms of botulism, such as constipation, difficulty feeding, poor head control, or trouble swallowing.

It’s important to note that the majority of infant formula is safe, and this recall affects only a small percentage of families who rely on formula.

Van Buren and Cass County families should take immediate action if they have any ByHeart formula products. For more information, including product details and recall guidance, visit the FDA’s official page.
