Dairy Manufacturers Recalls Infant Formula for FDA Issues

Prosper, TX – 5/24/24 – Dairy Manufacturers Inc. is voluntarily recalling all lot codes of their infant formulas, including Crecelac Infant 0-12, Farmalac 0-12, and Farmalac 0-12 Low Lactose, from the U.S. retail and wholesale market. This action follows an FDA notification indicating non-compliance with section 21 CFR 106.110, related to new infant formula registration.

The recall is due to the products being sold in the U.S. without the required premarket notification to the FDA, meaning they have not been evaluated for compliance with U.S. food safety and nutritional standards. While no illnesses have been reported, Dairy Manufacturers urges parents and caregivers to be aware of this issue. Read FDA company announcement here.
