MDHHS Recalls Diamond Shruumz Products for Severe Illnesses
MDHHS Issues Recall for Diamond Shruumz Products Due to Severe Illnesses
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has announced a recall of all Diamond Shruumz-brand products, including Microdosing Chocolate Bars, Infused Cones, and Gummies. The recall, in coordination with the FDA, urges residents to stop consuming these products immediately due to reports of severe illnesses, including seizures and central nervous system depression. Affected individuals should seek medical treatment and report symptoms to MDHHS or the Poison Help Line. Retailers should discontinue sales and initiate returns.
Those who experience adverse health effects after consuming these products should seek medical treatment and/or call the Poison Help Line at 800-222-1222. To report symptoms, ask questions or seek additional information, contact MDHHS at 844-464-7327, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or at MDHHS-eht@michigan.gov which is monitored daily Monday through Friday.
